Remote Pilot Licence (Upgrade) Multirotor 150kgs – Callisto 50

Description

Aviassist’s Remote Pilot Licence (Upgrade) Multirotor 150kgs – Callisto 50 course is designed for those wanting to upgrade from an existing Remote Pilot Licence – Multirotor to include the Callisto 50 type.

Delivery Method

Training and Testing

Practical training is delivered over two days in person at one of Aviassist’s training venues. The training incorporates items from the Part 101 MOS and real world applications such as sling loads.

Flight Test only

For those with their own aircraft, there is an option for testing only. To qualify for testing only the candidate must have:

Their own Freespace Callisto 50 RPA, registered with full maintenance history
Five hours on type

You will be asked to provide evidence when booking.

Learning Outcomes

Demonstrate practical competencies in accordance with CASA Part 101
Understand considerations of operating Medium Multirotor aircraft
Understand Air Law for Remote Operator Certificate operations
Demonstrate the ability to operate Freespace Callisto RPA
