Description
Aviassist’s Remote Pilot Licence (Upgrade) Multirotor 25kgs course is designed for those wanting to upgrade from an existing Remote Pilot Licence holder or piloted Flight crew holder to include Multirotor aircraft up to 25kgs.
Delivery Method
Theory delivery is self-study via Aviassist’s online learning management system. Practical training is delivered over two days in person at one of Aviassist’s training venues. For those without piloted flight crew qualifications, a two-hour in-person theory session is required.
Learning Outcomes
- Demonstrate practical competencies in accordance with CASA Part 101
- Understand considerations of operating Multirotor aircraft
- Understand Air Law for Remote Operator Certificate operations
- Demonstrate the ability to operate DJI Phantom 4 and DJI Matrice 600 aircraft

Pre-requisite
Existing Remote Pilot Licence or pass in Recreational Pilots Licence theory exam or higher (PPL/CPL/ATPL)

- Civil Aviation Safety Authority Remote Pilot Licence Multirotor 25kgs.
*Excluded category operators will not receive the Remote Pilot Licence until the theory component is completed.
