Aviassist’s powered lift training Brisbane is for remote pilots who:

  • currently hold a Remote Pilot Licence in a different aircraft type and wish to upgrade their RePL to include powered lift <7kg or <25kg or
  • hold a <7kg powered lift licence and wish to upgrade to <25kg

Scheduled for only four students, Aviassist’s powered lift training Brisbane is conducted over two days and includes a half day theory module and aircraft specific briefing, followed by up to one and a half days of practical type training. Students are provided up to 12 months access to our digital online learning portal.

Aviassist’s powered lift training Brisbane provides students with a detailed understanding of the fundamental theory subjects and specific aircraft type operation. The following syllabus is covered in your training:

  • Principles of operation – flight controls
  • Aerodynamics – hovering and vertical climbing
  • Aerodynamics – abnormal operations vertical flight

To meet CASA’s compliance requirements we ask that existing RePL holders provide the following records:
  • a logbook with a minimum of five hours on the RePL holders current type.
  • a copy of the pilot’s current current Remote Pilot Licence. If your RePL was issued prior to April 2017 CASA requires students demonstrate “involvement” – please contact our office for further details if this applies.
