COVID19 delays Remote Pilot Licence training

With the increasing prevalence of COVID19, Aviassist has made the difficult decision to temporarily suspend operations to ensure the safety of our staff and guests.

Aviassist will be temporarily suspending operations, Australia wide, as of Monday 23rd March 2020 amid increasing COVID19 concerns. The suspension will be for two weeks and assessed daily.

UPDATE

Face to Face suspension has been extended to 4th May 2020. Theory component can be conducted “Online Live” to fast track Remote Pilot Licence training.

Ensuring the safety of our staff and guests is our priority and mitigating the risk of COVID19 is getting progressively more difficult. Aviassist believes with current government efforts to curb COVID19, it would not be responsible to continue Remote Pilot Licence training at this time. We hope those we inconvenience can understand the measures are to protect many.

In the meantime, students will be offered to complete the theory component of the training through our online live, virtual classroom facilities. This option will fast track licence completion when we can ensure a safe environment.

Aviassist’s administration office remains open and will continue to provide support alongside new booking enquiries. We can’t wait to get back into training and look forward to working with you all again shortly.
